I must have missed the last couple of episodes of last series because I have no ideas what's going on. The last one I saw was when she was in the loo taking a pregnancy test. Im Assuming she had the baby. What happened to brody? Last I knew he was being held captive. Any information gratefully received.

hi, Kiora,
a couple of my Grandkids got me an x box for my last Birthday, its absolutely great. You can get all these box sets and literally 100s of films any time of day. I have not got around to watching Homeland yet but when I do and get to the loo scene, and whats happened to Brody I"ll get back to you.
Happy viewing

Brody was hanged!!! and she watched it not sure if it was in Syria or Iraq anyway he was spying for the US assassinated someone and was hanged. I fell asleep in last nights episode so I need to watch it on I-player. I have watched it all the way through though and the Americans which I think is better.

I've seen the first three series and loved it (except when Brody got hanged (hung?)). Recorded last night's new episode, might watch it today.
Carrie was pregnant with Brody's baby, but probably putting her career first as she gets promoted... that's where series three ended.

I am watching the box set on Netflix.

Didn't read any posts as I don't know which series others are watching and I don't want any spoilers. grin

I thought she was pregnant with some random's baby! How can I have missed him being hanged? confused hmm shock

Where am I? What's my name?......................................

I just couldn't imagine it being the same without Brody being in the storyline,I missed the last episode also I wonder if she could have been mistaken as to who was killed and he makes a reappearance ??

Kiora Mon 13-Oct-14 17:20:31

NO NO NO now I'm having a fit of the vapours. How could I have missed the most important bits. My other upset is I think I had a bit of a thing for Brody ( I used to get wobbly at a younger Charles dance. Perhaps I have a soft spot for red headed men [ blush]) I really wish I didn't know about Brody I'm so disappointed

Me too Kiora, I just had a look online and it doesn't look like he's going to magically reappear. I don't think I'll be watching again.

I just watched it on 'puter. Never watched it before, but that gorgeous young feller from Merlin is in it now, Bradley James. And it was really good! Why haven't I watched it before? confused

jinglbellsfrocks Mon 13-Oct-14 18:25:56

Well, he won't magically re-appear if they hanged him will he? confused hmm

I also like Peaky Blinders. To be honest the title put me off and I ignored it for the first series but it was repeated during September and I somehow got to watch it and am now loving it. It is somewhat violent though for those who don't like violence.

agile75 Mon 13-Oct-14 23:26:07

Hi Whitewave

The name Peaky Blinders comes from the Caps the Gangs wore.In the peak of the Cap they would sew blades and in a fight they would grab the back of the Cap and slash opponents in the face with it often blinding members of the other gang.when I was a kid this was commonplace and gang memberrs wore their scars with pride, that is if they could still see, violence and gangs have always been with us even in the good old days.

Lona Tue 14-Oct-14 09:44:35

glammanana Tue 14-Oct-14 10:05:37

jings ye of little faith re Brody being hanged remember years ago Bobby Ewing reappeared out of the shower grin
Peaky Blinders was filmed not far from us around the Docklands & the Long Streets leading down to The Mersey on Liverpool side of the River,we have a lot of Series filmed around here even Downton episodes of Lady Mary at The Adelphi, the building are so full of character and are right for the era.
