I hope Linda tells someone what happened to her. I don't think she'll be believed now though and all sorts of trouble is on the way. I can't remember what Alfie did. You might have to remind me. I thought Sharon looked very funny in that wedding dress. Didn't do a lot for her.

Stopped listening to the Archers a few years back. It good too middle class. DH still has it on so I hear a bit.

Emmerdale does seem to lurch from the boringly mundane to the outlandishly unbelievable. How many murderers has that small community produced now?

Ditto Corrie, really. And am I the only one who remembers Steve MacDonald being sent to prison years and years ago, yet now no one ever mentions it? Same with Deirdre.

And in all the soaps, the children are attrociously behaved (not counting Max in Corrie as I agree with Thingie that his supposed ADHD is not being well portrayed). Most of the kids are downright rude, and allowed to get away with it. Makes me cross [grumpy old woman emoticon]!

PS I liked Shirley when I used to watch Eastenders. She's my hero!

Did you see her in Bad Girls? Wish they'd bring that back.

What about Neighbours and Home and Away, or is this limited to British soaps? The only soaps I watch are Eastenders, Neighbours and Home and Away, used to love Brookside before they canned it.

I do like Shirl she is entertaining but i wish she could have a happier story line and stop her running away from her kids.

There is no lack of somewhere to air your views - that's why this is called TV and radio.
But TBH, what need is there to treat these programmes as real anyway? If something is rubbish there's is a handy button on the remote to switch it off or at leastover to something better.

Hope Charity gets what she deserves,felt so sorry for Sam when he heard what she done to Rachel,stupid stories for Jimmy recently,he can be quite funny but no need to be making him look foolish.
Corrie,getting fed up waiting for the truth to come out about Tina's murder,like a lot of story lines in all soaps,they tend to drag on and on.

I only watch Stenders but I'm finding it a drag at the moment! It's all a hit unbelievable! I don't think Dean thinks he's having an affair with Linda, I think he's menacing! I think Linda is brilliantly acted! I love Alfie and Kat and can't imagine how this can work out for them!

Is Holby a soap? I have been watching that for years too!

Has Shirl got a daughter somewhere as well as the son who did the baaaad deed (can't even remember his name now). At one point I had it in my head that Lola was her daughter, but that's wrong. Is there another blonde girl belonging to her somewhere?

It is too early in the day for riddles and it was defo too late last night to go to Specsavers to read /work out OP's name.

So it it's not to much to ask - what is this all about?
(Oh I know, it's Soaps, but as I dont watch any of those mentioned the plot lines are a foreign country as far as I am concerned.)

Eastenders is very slow at the moment i think soaps in general are dragging out thier story lines far too long

Jimmy's storyline is just ridiculas and so predictable that once he heard he was called Carl he would be in his life

I dont treat these shows as real but i still do enjoy watching them and picking them apart at times because the shows and producers etc often say they make them true to life, which is clearly untrue
