My sister came for supper last night and we watched this rubbish last night too merlot. Like you we weren't sure whether it was serious or a comedy. That hallway with the plants and the grass was a scream !

It's plain stupid. I watched one of them. Who in their right mind would allow someone else loose to redecorate their home without any reference to their tastes.

I wonder how much they get paid to do the show and if the result is really dreadful can they get it restored to something they can live with.

Is it a humiliation program?

I used to like the presenter when she was in Four Rooms. She's rubbish in this. I saw it last night. I can understand why she does not say much. She must be gobsmacked.

What channel is this on? Sounds like a must see!

I didn't see it. Is it similar to Changing Rooms which was on about 10 years ago with Laurence Llewellyn Bowen? It sounds horrendous.

Saw a trailer for it on BBC Breakfast. It made Changing Rooms look quite cerebral....IMO of coure. I have to confess to a sneaky liking for LLB.... he sends himself up which is no bad thing, and he livens up my Sunday lunch preperations on Classic FM.

On my laptop the presenter looked dire when she was being interviewed on Breakfast Time..... all fake tan and hair extensions but I watch curtesy (!) of Filmon Tv so hardly top quality, but needs must.

Saw it last night for the first, wouldn't waste time on another.
The plants on the hallway wall were a nightmare. Even from just a practical viewpoint, how would they successfully be watered and maintained?

I thought this was dire. Honestly, I am a big fan of the BBC, but this was a completely ridiculous programme.

Agree it was rubbish. How would you keep the top plants watered ? And imagine all the dead bits and pieces falling off in time. And can you hoover astro turf? Mad.

I agree it is absolute rubbish! I saw Celia, the presenter, on a 'Place in the Sun' type programme buying a house on Sandbanks, one of the most expensive spots in the UK. She demolished the property and built a multi-million pound home. I think her outfits are a bit ridiculous, would rather see her in something a little less figure-hugging, and casual.

I think and I mean only think that these amateur designers are hoping to launch successful careers on the back of this programme.

That plant wall in the entrance hall was a complete nightmare. Plants need light which was sadly lacking. What happens to these ghastly rooms after the cameras have gone? Does the BBC pay for them to be re-instated?

On the mountain of television rubbish spewed out over the years this ludicrous offering and its strange orange-tinted presenter must be very near the top. To think of entrusting an empty paper bag to these loonies would be folly. The Beeb has gone completely mad!

There is some real rubbish on TV at the moment but this must win hands down.

This must be the train-wreck of a programme I found was running when I was too busy to get up and find the remote the other day - I'm still trying to figure out why someone would not want a bedroom 'like a five-star hotel' as one owner plaintively stated - that would have suited me. The presenter a long, lean and stringy looking 'blonde' just failing to hide the Estuary in her speech...
