I thought this was going to be cracking final episode to the series but there were more bodies than Midsomer Murders and now Morse is banged up because he's the only unbent copper on the force.

Where's Lewis when you need him?

If only Morse had not recited poetry, it always distracts people with bad results.Memo to self..... never do that in dangerous situations. grin

Caught the start of the first Endeavour on itv3 today. Endeavour's landlady informs him there are two other gentleman lodgers, Merrs. Goldberg and McCann. These are the two thugs in Pinter's The Birthday Party.

I must now start looking at it for other cross-references.
