Unexpected opportunity to have a few days break next week and would love some recommendations

Would be very grateful for any gransnetters recommendations. What we’re looking for: a coastal holiday in England or Wales. (Scotland is too far for the time we have available).
Not Northumberland or Cornwall this time because we know (and love) them very well.
What we would hope for: beautiful scenery, quiet, walkable beaches, (so firm sands), lovely countryside and interesting places to visit.
We’re not looking for lively resorts or entertainment.
We’re a couple in our 70s, fortunately quite fit and well, and would be travelling by car.
Suggestions welcome, please!

I see you have already chosen a destination but, for future consideration, I would suggest West and East Sussex - Eastbourne is very nice - a hop on, hop off double decker bus does the route Beachy Head, Birling Gap - better for views but car OK too. Also Seven Sisters country park. Beautiful Downs scenery. Camber Sands - lovely beach with sand dunes. Hastings and Hastings country park, Rye - very quaint and interesting town.
