Flight Socks

I found the ones from Boots too tight to continue using them, and took them off after about an hour into the flight.
Perhaps they were meant to be tight?

I'm sure they come in different sizes?
They're meant to be snug but not cut off your circulation! If they are loose there's be no point in wearing them.

I've worn the black thick ones and others which are like knee length stockings but the black thick ones are best imo.

Wh n I’ve had to wear them after hospital procedures, the nurses have always measured my legs to see what size was needed. Perhaps your daughter should measure hers and then ask at the chemist which ones are best

We bought some in Superdrug 2 years ago and they were excellent. They really support your legs without squeezing them too much. They were also very reasonably priced.

I bought mine in Boots and wore them. I may have had help choosing. I always ask.
I also got up from my aisle seat and walked about more often than anyone else on the plane.
I travelled to New Zealand by myself so roughly 30 hours in the air altogether.
I didn't sleep much but nor did I get swollen ankles.
I was 75 so a good deal older than your DD.

Oh goodness, I bought them so long ago; they were either Boots own or Scholls.
It can get chilly on a plane so that's why I prefer the thick ones and the thinner ones seem to have a seam which cuts in just below the knee.

These are more like ordinary socks and are very comfortable.

My husband and I had the Boots flight socks. The packets are clearly marked with the sizes. I measured our legs before buying. Naturally, we each took a different size. We had a good experience of wearing the Boots flight socks during several long haul flights.

There are some that have some cotton content which I prefer. They were nearly twice the price though!
