Gransnet Outages Getting More Frequent

Gransnet was down for several hours in my part of the country. It appears that while the broadband companies claim and boast about technological improvements, the service gets more fragile and more prone to 'outages'.

Has the Internet advanced itself too far and the various providers just have too much to cope with?

It was down in Australia for quite some time but,hey, we are a long,long way away so I wasn’t too upset!

I was surprised that Mumsnet was online as usual I assumed they would be the same internet server.
If that sounds technical, I have no idea what that means as I am a technophobe but it sounds ok.
Just pleased to see it back.
