Cheaper TV/Broadband for pensioners?

I actually managed to speak to a real person at TalkTalk today and have been offered a new contract that is much cheaper than my previous one. They did say they could offer me free extras if I was disabled in any way. I was quite impressed (and relieved).

My contract with TalkTalk has expired; I should have renewed it today but forgot. I’m a complete technophobe. I’m so frustrated with myself. Am totally dependent on my internet and sick of trying to have conversations with bots.
