Just had a quick Google and M&S sell a pack of 3, 60 denier. Aubergine, black and navy mixed pack £9.00.
I have ordered myself a pack, I get bored with black!

Margs

Hmmmm.......why do tights manufacturers assume that the wider you are the taller you MUST be?

Definitely not so in my case!

I think it's the Oriental garment industry that's done it. They think that "bigger" is a synonym for "higher". Someone ought to print them a reliably accurate dictionary! confused

Or mine! It’s a real bug bear for many clothes

Not sure what you mean by "age groups".

I mean do some sorts of tights look better on an 80 year old, than a 60 year old for example?

margs Snag tights do a variety of sizes to avoid just that!

M & S have a good range of sizes, colours and deniers.

Wolford are expensive but hand washed and treated with care they go on and on.

Not sure what you mean by "age groups".

Of the ones recommended, which age groups do they suit please?

My tights definitely need an update, but been holding back buying new ones for years.

I like Charnos tights. I have some lovely thick knitted ones.

I’ve been really impressed with Wolford. What I appreciate most is the attention to detail. The designs are simple but sophisticated, and the pieces feel more durable and refined than many standard hosiery products, I would highly recommend Wolford to people looking for stylish, comfortable, and well-made tights, lingerie, or shapewear. My only criticism is the price, but the quality largely justifies the investment.

For real 💯

Hey there 👋, I think I may be able to help you out with that if you'd like. Dont stress too much about it.

Wolford were always fabulous.
Lots of sizes and fibres - including silk and wool.
Used to wear these.

Yes, I wish they’d made them years ago. I’ve got boxes full of tights that I’ve bought for special occasions but never fitted me because I’m a funny shape. So I’ve now found tights that I can wear but never wear dresses.

Snag they are very good.

Snag tights are regularly recommended, I’ve no personal experience of them.

For some reason the algorithms are not allowing me to search the forums and I know the answers to my thread query are on the site somewhere
I’m going on a cruise in a few weeks and know it will be a bit chilly of an evening and need some thickish coloured tights that don’t give me the Nora Batty look, I’ve seen one company especially recommended by a number of people but I can’t remember their name, is anyone able to help me please
TIA
