For several years I have been aware that in many upmarket newspapers and magazines, the models look like bland faced aliens with the clothes just stuck on them. Latterly, websites like John Lewis and M&S seem to favour this type of model, and not only do the people look empty inside but their stances are awkward and don’t show the clothes fully. Where is the appeal in this and surely in real life we don’t look like this. Am I odd or has anyone else noticed this?
