What would happen if you were to wash it then just put it on a hanger to dry? I do that with a "crinkle" blouse and never have to iron it.

You could always put it on a hanger and steam it.

My clothes always look crumpled, even when they're not supposed to; it's a gift I think .

I made the mistake of ironing one of my "crinkled" blouses and it never looked the same again.

I bought a crinkle look dress from Marks on line and when it arrived I was horrified by how crushed and crumpled it looked. But I have to admit it doesn't look so bad on.

I have about half a dozen "crinkle" skirts and one blouse. I wash by hand, squeeze as much water out as I can, then tie them in a knot and hang them on the line. When they get to just damp stage, I undo them, give `em a shake, then hang them back out again till dry. No problems, and, best of all, no ironing!

WASH BY HAND! ? number I adopt the slut approach, bung it in the machine (40 degree, 30 if you are not sure) with anything else that is unlikely to affect the colour, take it out, stick it on a hanger, leave to dry.

I will admit to only using wooden hangers, but they were on a special offer so there!
