Posted too soon. I meant to add that you seem to be going a long way round to use voice to text.

Above my keyboard on my samsung phone there is a row of symbols, emoji, microphone, settings etc. If you click on the microphone you can dictate your post. I don't tend to use it but it is a feature I could use if I wanted to.

On my Android phone I can open Google Notes choose "Audio", dictate to that and then cut and paste it to Gransnet.

(There will be similar on Apple and other systems).
