Is it possible to remove a topic from "I'm on"

So, with these here famous sock drawers, how do you fold your socks in order to store them?

Do you roll them up?
Do you just fold them one sock on top of the other?
Or do you use that turning one sock inside out technique and stretching the cuff over to keep them in a tight bundle?

Ah, at last a subject that we can really get our teeth into.
I have to be honest but I haven’t given it much thought lately, been too consumed with the price of eggs in Tesco’s.
But now that you’ve brought it up I will make time on my calendar.

So, with these here famous sock drawers, how do you fold your socks in order to store them?

I would simply like, if it's possible, to be able to tidy up the list of the topics I'm following, deleting those that seem to have run their course for me, personally.

You could just stop posting on the thread and then it would just naturally "die" and would just fall off the active list? It's only people posting on a thread that keeps it in active. I hope this suggestion isn't perceived as being an attack.

DH likes a tidy sock drawer, they are all placed in precise order.
If only he was as tidy around the rest of the house!

Why do so many people on GN feel the need to attack others?
Like this one attacking those who post a point of view which doesn’t suit the poster asking that question.

Why do so many people on GN feel the need to attack others? We now have an attack on those who like to keep things tidy. Seriously, if you've nothing better to do than pick fights over an imaginary tidiness of mythical sock drawers what on earth picture do you think that paints of the person needing to make such an accusation?

I don’t have a list of posts, just go to the topics I am interested in. I just look at active discussions, too and sometimes the threads I’m on. That’s sufficient.

Can no one just scroll past and ignore If it ‘ just pops up’ it is not compulsory to read it
Exactly me Alira I once took hours getting rid of all the games the next time I opened up they were all back so I just scroll past not, its easy enough

Hiding most of the Games threads is tedious because they have to be done one by one. I tried once but more and more pop up so I just scroll on by.

I usually only ever click on Active discussions and ignore the rest.
However I also understand if you start a thread on A and it gets hijacked or meanders off to B a person can feel sidelined.

I get what you mean DAR. After 3 days I’d lost interest in this post, but it popped up again. I was going to scroll on and if more it but . . .
Maybe you could share the site where the option you want is available with GN site managers so they could perhaps initiate that option, or at least enquire if there is sufficient need for it.

If you go to the mobile site and the thread in question there should be a white arrow in a small red circle on the right at the top of the thread.
Click on that and there will be list of options, one of which is Hide this discussion.

I mentioned that on page 1 but it evidently doesn’t work for some.
It works on my iPad and phone. I haven’t tried it on a computer.

No, I agree, I wouldn’t reopen a very old thread. This one had just dropped off the radar a couple of days ago, so quite safe to reopen it!
