I noticed it was still being discussed on Mumsnet last night!

They said on their post just before deleted the thread that it can be discussed, but without saying that anyone is guilty or not guilty of anything. I am not sure that it really is technically sub judice, but I suspect GN are covering themselves against any charges.

My guess is that they got the wobbles and shut the thread down without really knowing if it was libelous or not. They perhaps haven't got access to legal advice? Come on HQ chat to us we won't eat you!

OK so if we start another thread can we be sure that you will treat us like adults and trust that we will not imply guilt, although even that is questionable as no legal proceedings are being carried out in the UK.

Just checked again. Only legal proceedings are the civil US lawsuit which 'mentions' Andrew. Unless or until Scotland Yard investigate and charge, no legal proceedings against Andrew in UK. The only other proceeding likely is against newspapers who have misinformed over the weekend and could be forced to issue an apology and retraction of anything that isn't evidenced. Perhaps GNHQ have been given rather loose advice referencing 'legal proceedings' which is a catch-all and can mean very little.

I'm sure guilt has been implied on previous threads involving other cases in the past.

I had a wisdom tooth taken out the year I retired - retired 3 weeks early because of it, I had like you enough pills to rattle - expect a sore time!!!!

And there isnt even a UK court case in this one.
