He became my step’cat when I met DP 10 years ago, but I feel really sad
He was 18 and had a lovely life and was very loved so I must focus on that.
We kept putting off the inevitable but he was losing weight rapidly and had dementia, and we just knew it was time.
The vet was so lovely, kind and respectful, and we brought him home and DP buried him in the garden overlooking the fields.
I keep looking at the empty space where he used to lie and welling up.
We still have his brother and my cat but the house still feels empty without him
do you still buy BBC radio times?
What did you you think you would have by your current age that you don't?
