An interesting article
"Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed al-Nahyan, the UAE president, initiated an “unusual” and long call directly with Netanyahu from the presidential palace in Abu Dhabi, according to a report of the book published in the Haaretz newspaper on September 8.
During the 45-minute call, bin Zayed warned that the Hamas leader in Gaza, Yahya Sinwar, was planning a “major operation” against Israel that could “destabilise the entire region”.
This could explain why the information from the female IDF spotters was ignored and why Israeli forces were so slow in responding to the calls for help from the Israelis being attacked. Netanyahu has still not answered the questions that were asked of him immediately after the dreadful attack by Hamas and it seems there could be more questions to answer. Interestingly, UAE has not commented.
