What would an ideal far right country look right to those who would vote Reform?

Lots of pointless discussion and no facts from people who would not vote Reform. even under duress.

Let us discuss it section by section, or possible group of sections where connected

Sections 1-4 are all about immigrants, legal and illegal. What are peoples's opinions on them.

The first problem I see there is that 1) many people destroy their papers so are stateless. 2) what happens if a country refuses to accept returning immigrants, whether it is France or the country of origin.

3) While retraining and workforce planning so that the structure of the workforce meets our requirements is an idea I would support. Doing this could take a decade or more. What will we do about lack of key professionals in the medical sector, for example in the meanwhile.

Right thats got things started. Possible Reform supporters will now come on board to defend or explain key policies as we go. So far the way this discussion has been conducted, if I were a Reform supporter I would nt be going near it.

I am interested in Reform's " pledge" ( I put it in speech marks, because it changes from time to time) to raise the income tax thresholds considerably - was £20k mention?
Apparently, this will be funded by a cut to overseas aid.
I would welcome a clear analysis of the statistics supporting this proposal, as I can't make the calculations add up.
I may be wrong, of course, and I would welcome someone with a better understanding to assist me in this.
We might also need to be mindful of the potential for unlooked for consequences.
In the USA, the decision to stop sending soya beans as aid abroad was greeted with enthusiasm...until the farmers growing this crop went out of business pretty promptly.
I have looked at their education policies, and am disappointed to see that, unlike the previous policy, this paper has backed down from stating that universities would be required to teach only what Reform agreed. I wondered how well our fine institutions of higher education would react to this.

The OP mentions Reform UK by name- and makes no mention of Nazi leanings.

You may not categorise Reform UK as far right - 'far right' appears to have struck a nerve with you. However Wikipedia defines Reform as a right-wing populist and far-right political party in the UK Thus the OP is merely describing Reform in the same way- no reason to denigrate to OP for using the term the predominantly applied to Reform.

Meanwhile its entirely up to any Reform UK supporters whether they wish to stand up for their party and state what they are hoping for.

Current Labour Party government is not far left for starters. You re entitled to your opinion and use your vote for your preferred party at the next GE.

Every potential candidate of whatever party has said they will tackle the small boats and immigration. None has fully succeeded.

So that promise of Farage lacks substance.

Personally I would like the problem solved in a humane way. I doubt whether that is what Farage has in mind

Also, by his own admission, when financial dodgy dealings are afoot Farage simply doesn’t listen. What else doesn’t he listen to??

If a Reform government is similar to the current Reform councils, then nothing will happen. They will fall out, resign, switch sides.
How many have gone so far?

First, the current Labour government are not ‘far left’ in any shape or form. The poster has been sadly misled.

If Reform ever form a government - and I pray they don’t - we will end up with a very cruel country, unaffordable health care for most, rights for women reduced, racism, public services annihilated, LGBT rights decimated… At least one of my children has said they would leave the country if Reform get in. I wouldn’t blame them.

Gaby Hinsliff's Guardian review from April 2026:

Yesterday, watching the increasing unhinged Zia Yusuf nodding along like a puppet as Tommy Robinson’s former bodyguard, convicted criminal Danny Thomas, dictated terms to him, Chappell seems to have that part, at least, spot on.

Fallingstar has probably summed it up. Ok for those who are wealthy enough to buy health services and other needs of daily life.
One reason I’m referring to other posts, is to avoid the ‘echo chamber’ effect that some people identify and object to.

In fact his most faithful voter base will find that once Farage is proved useless at stopping small boats, or that he is only stopping some small boats on the back of the previous government’s successes, he will be targeting them, the unemployed, the disabled, the elderly, the low paid workers.

I seem to remember that Miss Read novels were full of kind , gentle souls who looked out for each other. I cannot see that they had any of the intolerance of the far right and I'm quite sure they would not hit people for speaking their mind, nor yank at their hair.
