Why is Reform holding it’s conference this week, the week when Parliament returns after the summer recess? The House of Commons rises again on 15 September 2026 and does not return until 12 October 2026 specifically so that political parties can hold their annual conferences in that period. But Reform ? Of course not. They have to be seen to be flouting convention. What was it they called themselves back in summer 2024? Foxes in the henhouse. It’s all part of the performance. Most sensible people can see through it.
