Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice shame on me. Yes, the voters of Clacton have been fooled again!

There’s already a thread on this up and running. The voters of Clacton weren’t fooled btw as they knew they wanted NF back when they voted.

Just because people didn't vote the way you agree with doesn't make them fools.

Come on there wasn’t a great selection to choose from was there?! Count Binface was fun but was he really a serious contender.

I know. I explained why I started a second one.

No, it doesn't. Allowing themselves to be fooled twice does however.

Disparaging people due to where they put their X in the ballot box is not a good look, nor is it clever.

How many threads about this do we need? I think this is the third one now.

Oh get a grip. Not everyone who voted for the man are fools. That is an unwarranted thing to say . You never know, he might turn out to be reasonably good ( not sure there but Andy Burnham is being given a chance and no one knows how he will turn out, either) I think they hate him because he threatens the two main parties, they don’t like change. Not many do.

Spot on. It’s patronising and condescending to tell people they are fools because they didn’t vote the way some posters hoped.

And yet here you all are, on this Thread.

Castigating it.

Nana8 you really are talking nonsense when you say he might turn out to be reasonably good do you know anything about his politics, or him if you think he’s good then you are liking a misogynist, a cheating, lying racist, who has been likened to how Hitler started out, there are photos of him do the goose step etc etc
Please concentrate on Australian politics.

OMG 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Bit of an over reaction there. Take a chill pill!

Keeping it going. 🍻

No idea who or what I know but, hey ho. Ignorance is bliss as they say. I just love the judgements and xenophobia, makes my day.

Because the Farage money story is now resumed.

No, it isn't. But how often do I move the arguments away from facts and how often do the right, far-right and extreme-right just offer unsubstantiated opinion?

A case of pot, kettle, black, I think.

Do you mean you enjoy making such comments?

They are being fooled nanna8 just as they were during the run up to Brexit when they voted for the international equivalent of "give up your job and you'll save on petrol".

At least Parliament can now return to their investigation of this man. Every cloud has a silver lining!

I am not far right nor am I a Reform supporter.

I do not and have not denigrated voters for exercising their right to vote for whoever they wish.

An unpleasant headline.
Getting rather tired of reading of people who do not support someone's 'approved' beliefs designated fools.
Apparently 22,239 people voted for Farage. If they did not want him, or any of the other candidates they did not have to vote at all.
Their choice.

It’s easier to dismiss people as fools than it it is to examine the reasons that they didn’t vote for ones own preferred candidate.

Showing utter contempt for those who voted will only alienate them for next time.

Now that’s a foolish thing to do.

I don’t like Reform or NF either but the moral superiority of the opening post and some other comments are sickening.
