It was every single party with regard to George Floyd, Ed Davey for example is currently finding that his past comments are coming back to haunt him.

Yes, as I said, the nature of the police involvement was an added factor. Of course it was.

But the fact that the cases are similar, and that the calls for ‘cold, hard rage’ were applied to only one is very telling, IMO, and that is the point I am making.

If Farage’s comments were about the police, rather than the murderer and the circumstances of the death (ie the murderer claiming that he was being racially abused) was he inciting people to react with ‘cold hard rage’ towards them? Isn’t inciting violence against the police illegal? It’s certainly not behaviour becoming of a member of parliament.

Is it genuinely a 'range' of politicians?
Or is it politicians with a specific orientation?

A number of deaths particularly when the police are involved receive more political and media attention, George Floyd, Sarah Everard, etc. If those are discussed by a range of politicians, then to be honest I see very little difference.

I don’t think it’s politicising to compare the cases. In one, a white man was killed by a Sikh, and there are riots and questions in parliament. In another a Saudi man is killed by a white man, and there is no outcry. Both victims were young students starting out in life, and both aggressors were dangerous thugs.

The nature of the police involvement in the Henry Nowak case was an added factor, but the end result was that two families have lost a son who should have had a bright future. Isn’t it necessary to ask why one case has had calls for ‘cold, hard rage’ and the other not? Particularly when those calls are coming from a man who is positioning himself as our next PM.

No, I'm not politicising the murder. I'm questioning why some of the richest and most powerful people in the world haven't posted about it on social media. Vance didn't concentrate on the mistake by the police in the Norwak case, but on immigration. If the main concern were police failure, the first thing to do would be to leave the police to do its job re an internal enquiry.
