He’s a very naughty boy!

Sorry but laughing at Trump’s latest attempt at ‘divine intervention’ is the only option for me. 😂😂

As Jeremy Vine said this morning, ‘He’s gone full (party) balloon.’

Where are the men in white coats?

Well, it's been a while since I saw my GP, but a member of my extended family is a hospital doctor, but I haven't seen any doctor dressed like this. Is this a common outfit for medical practitioners in the USA?

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

I truly believe that (some) American have gone completely bonkers and that we must live in a completely different world to them?

Trump portrayed himself as the pope once. Shows a deep flaw in his character. Does he want to be one of the most revered people in the world.

He could go for most notorious and evil.

There’s more than that:

“Based on reports as of April 2026, some supporters and spiritual advisors, such as Paula White-Cain, have used language comparing Donald Trump to Jesus Christ, particularly regarding his political comeback and "sacrificial" image during his time in office. These comparisons have included likening his journey to a resurrection and referring to him as a "king".Spiritual Advisor Comparisons: Paula White-Cain, a spiritual advisor, has likened Trump's political journey to the death and resurrection of Jesus, stating, "Because He was victorious, you were victorious"."King" Rhetoric: During a 2026 White House Easter event, Trump referenced being welcomed as a king, noting, "They call me king now, can you believe it?".Biblical Analogies: Some supporters and evangelical leaders have described Trump as a "vessel of the Lord," sometimes drawing parallels to biblical figures like King Cyrus or Jehu to portray him as a chosen leader.”

I will say it again - he's a despicable excuse for a human being. And yet he still dares to criticise anyone who disagrees with him. With a bit of luck, he'll get struck by lightning.

I wonder what JD Vance, a Catholic, has had to say about his comments regarding the Pope.

Vance won’t care, he sold his soul years ago.

Esmay

Another deeply offensive act by Trump .

I wonder what's next .
Claiming the British crown?
Living in Buckingham Palace ?
Nothing he says or does remotely surprises me any longer .

Good heavens, that's not enough Esmay

He wants to be King of the World. Buckingham Palace is just a cottage!

Thank you for the link imaround; a fascinating all be it rather disturbing article especially Newman who describes Trump to a 't'.

There appears to be a very chilling progression in these ridiculous images we're seeing of Trump. To begin with he was shown with Jesus, 'working' along side him but this one is clearly depicting him as Jesus.

Interview this morning on Sky News. People in the bible belt playing down the picture but saying Trump was doing a great job as president. Think I live in a parallel universe.

Luckygirl3 Tue 14-Apr-26 08:58:31

Well my late OH was a doctor and he never wore his robes on the wards!

Basgetti Tue 14-Apr-26 08:58:01

Wearing a biggly crown as he greets KC?

A doctor!!! You have to laugh!!!!
Will there be anyone who actually believes him?

Not sure why you’re laughing.
Our doctor dresses like that, doesn’t yours?

😉

imaround article is over long and wordy, but he gets down to the heart of it after a bit of theology

"It is difficult to understate just how shocking the image is. No president, no medieval king, no emperor or modern dictator has ever publicly represented himself as Jesus Christ or claimed for himself the ability to raise the dead

To Catholics the posting of this image is, or should be, the most profoundly offensive act imaginable, a grave public sin that brings shame to, and invites God’s judgement upon, our nation. Even for secular readers it must be a staggering reminder of the dangers of divinizing those in authority and of the role institutional Christianity has played historically in preventing it.

Suzieque66 Tue 14-Apr-26 08:37:35

I agree with the statement that he is deranged and unbalanced .. he is so awful that words fail me !

MaizieD Tue 14-Apr-26 08:36:50

In the current situation in the US, with a Republican majority in Congress, which would never vote to impeach him, the only other way that Trump could be removed is through action by the vice president. Who is as unlikely to act as is Congress.

We’ll just have to out up with him for a bit longer…

AGAA4 Tue 14-Apr-26 08:32:17

The backlash against Trump portraying himself as the Messiah is huge. Lying and saying he was portrayed as a doctor has made it worse. How many doctors have golden healing light coming from their hands.
Trump has disgraced his country with this diabolical video.

It is a good question Ladyleftfieldlover.
It seems that political systems of all persuasions have too few safeguards built in.
Crazy people seem to rise to the top, however fair the systems might seem on paper. And once they get there the people around them are too scared for their own careers and livelihoods to stand up to them.

Ladyleftfieldlover Tue 14-Apr-26 07:58:42

I nearly forgot about those women who said he raped them when they were still children. Is all this malarky simply to cover up the Epstein files?

Ladyleftfieldlover Tue 14-Apr-26 07:56:23

Every time trump behaves badly everyone says that it must be the final straw… insulting a disabled journalist, talking about grabbing women by the pussy, upsetting the parents of a dead serviceman, being found guilty of sexually assaulting a women (he still hasn’t paid her the damages he was ordered to pay), being found unanimously guilty in a court of law, starting an illegal war in Iran (if he hadn’t torn up Obama’s deal this should never have happened) being appallingly rude about the Pope, lying about our troops etc., etc… but he’s still there, in the White House. Why we may ask?

Chocolatelovinggran Tue 14-Apr-26 07:44:04

If I woke from an operation to see that image by my bed, I would assume that the surgery had gone wrong, and I was in trouble...

Sparklefizz Tue 14-Apr-26 07:39:18

Allsorts

Its blasphemous and deeply insulting, how can anyone excuse this? He has insulted Pope Leo for speaking the truth. He shows no respect to anyone and imagines in his daft head he is above anyone. Surely the church in America will now condemn him.

Exactly this.
Added to everything else, I can't understand why he hasn't been removed as an emergency by the American people.

Kamiso Tue 14-Apr-26 01:52:47

Saw the bbc programme When Harry (Clark) Met the Pope. Really fascinating and showed the Pope as far more centred and reasonable than some of the previous incumbents.

Programme on earlier about the US policy of deporting immigrants on the flimsiest reasons, often with no investigation or logic and excessive brutality. They plan to deport a lot more people and it became clear, because they were not white.

Trump is evil incarnate and a worrying number of Americans seem to agree wholeheartedly.

imaround Tue 14-Apr-26 01:15:03

Speaking of both sides cleaning up before an election.

Rep Swalwell (D-CA) was accused of sexual assault last week and has suspended his campaign for CA Governor and resigned from Congress.

Rep Gonzales (R-TX) was accused of sexual assault months+ ago and had finally, today announced he is retiring from Congress. Finally.

Let the games begin?

One of my favorite shows Fallingstar! Noah Wylie has a new show called The Pitt, I think. I need to watch it..

The Lamp has been compared to the Catholic New Yorker. This was posted today, I believe.

thelampmagazine.com/blog/is-donald-trump-antichrist

I am not Catholic, so I can't discuss this. I was just passing it along because I thought it was interesting.

Allira Mon 13-Apr-26 22:43:05

Are they too frightened to section him?

Surely all those sycophants around him would be quite relieved?
