In the same vein, I remember reading and hearing people say that the previous government - under Rishi Sunak - was a socialist government ??? I can only assume they meant that it just wasn't right-wing-enough for their liking. But then, people do have different interpretations of socialism. Some appear to think that a Tory doing anything that doesn't align with the Genghis Khan School of Conservatism is a raging woke Leftie.

The thing I do not like about the BBC or at least the ‘news’ channel is that they constantly say how good they are and how they are not there to tell you what to think. They then flash past pictures of their various reporters overseas. Over and over and over again. I had to turn it off because it occurred every 5 or 6 minutes and there was actually almost no news. I assume the Americans must have blocked access ? Very boring.
