I don't think any government could have prevented the Riots and I think the government handed them very well by working closely with he police. I think it's easy to forget just how horrible that period was, and the revelations about who fanned the flames on Social Media.

Sunak left the country in a right mess, although I don't blame him for the situation he inherited. I think he called a flash election because of the state of affairs looming and I think he knew he wouldn't be there to have to deal with them.
I'm looking forward to the return of parliament too and hopefully a well organised opposition under an effective leader.
