No Afghani’s who worked for or with the U.K. forces inn Afghanistan will be sent to Rwanda.

This has been stated repeatedly by various Government Ministers.

I think the biggest problem Sunak has now CvD66 is that the public aren’t taking any notice, it’s like Peter crying wolf too many times. We’ve reached the point I think that whatever he does isn’t going to improve the rating of the Tories at the election. It might be hung, it might be Labour, SNP and Lib Dem’s might do well or might not - but what ever else happens the Tories will lose. In fairness to Sunak, I don’t think it’s his fault either, I think Truss finished them off.

I totally agree, and I think Sunak knows this too. It’s becoming embarrassing watching him constantly trying to re-invent himself and the party. He really should do us all (himself included) a favour and call a GE. Put us all out of our misery!

The issue as far as the British voter is concerned is that we know that none of the so-called policies will come to fruition. It is all hot air.

We need a change of government.

These Tory rebrands are pointless as most of the public have given up listening because they are fed up with all the failed promises like reducing waiting lists, the Truss 'tax' on mortgages, the laughable Rwanda scheme, etc.

I’d go with Starmer’s six point plan if I were you. There’s nothing in that that anyone can complain about.

But who has any confidence that Starmer's promises won't be as empty as Sunak's

Where are all those extra teachers going to come from? Teachers are already leaving the profession in droves, driven out by stress and exhaustion and with no intention of coming back. And as for those 40,000 a week/month/year(?) appointments in the NHS, where are the medical qualified staff to deal with these coming from. Possibly by reducing a doctor's training to 6 months? and nurses training to 6 weeks and introducing instant operations at your local Pharmacy?

I don’t think this is about Starmer’s proposals Monica, as whatever Labour say they will or won’t do, a majority of people won’t vote Tory now anyway because they’ve switched off - it could end up with them voting anything but. Do you think there’s anything Sunak could do now that would persuade more people to vote Tory?

Where's the money going to come from M0nica? As well as saying what the Labour party will do, it needs to be said how it can be achieved.

Why do people keep trying to deflect from the question about the rebrand?

Let’s have your thoughts about that, not a rant about Starmer’s plans again.

I don’t have any problem with the rebrand - but then I would say that wouldn’t I? This is not deflection, but how many times did Labour refer to being a new Labour Party, changed from the old Labour Party, today? If that’s not rebranding I don’t know what is.
