I left England back in 2010 before Brexit was on the cards. I think that I can complain about Brexit because I think it is harmful to the country. Although I live in France I am still English and always will be. It's in my DNA. Although right now I'm not proud to be British.
No one on here has complained about Mr & Mrs Joe Bloggs who live in Halifax and not considered ex-pats when they voted. However, I and many others wish that the Bloggs had not listened to all the lies that they were fed.
Actually, leaving the EU hasn't had enormous problems for me and the other Brits that I know. I complained on here about losing my Barclaycard which pissed me off because I found it useful. Obviously there's ways around its loss.
Most of us are retired and so receiving pensions from the UK and all of us will be affected by the poor exchange rate but there's not a lot that we can do about it.
I'm still working for clients in the UK, some of who are doing OK and others are having a hard time. I have complained on here about the treatment of the self employed - specifically those who have fallen through the net.
