14 years ago today!!!!

There was quite a long item on it on LBC first thing this morning and it was on the BBC webpage as well. However I wouldn’t really have expected any mention on the main news bulletins - except maybe local news programmes.

I too remember the literally sick feeling, how “my insides turned to water” that morning, as youngest D worked near Liverpool Street and middle D was rehearsing close to Russell Square. Of course there was no mobile contact but D1 in Birmingham managed to email her younger sister’s office and then get word to me that she was safe and as luck would have it, the theatre director had told the cast to have the morning off so D2 had gone swimming close to her flat in Camberwell. Those memories will stay with me.
