I think we are watching the dying months of his political career , possibly it will end by this years Tory party conference. His behaviour in the house this week has been a disgrace. Now denying ministers access to government material shows a man losing the plot.

They are members of the govt who have chosen, and been allowed, to go against govt policy. They can't expect to have it both ways. He could have shunted them to the back benches but he didn't. I respect him for that. I'm not a fan of his so this is grudging!

One can speculated but at the end of the day it's just your opinion obieone and anything I say would be just an opinion too.

It reminds me of the media when they can't find any hard facts to broadcast so they speculate over what could be, should be, might be.....and so on. I normally turn off or switch channels.

I'm not a Cameron fan either but I agree with his stance on Europe and respect him for allowing senior members of his party to campaign and vote with their conscience.
He has already said clearly he won't remain as leader, stressing his belief in the country remaining in Europe is therefore not influenced by political ambition.
I don't like his Flashman, bullying, shouting approach at PMQ's but I don't see that this week as any worse than any other time. I also felt that Jeremy Corbyn's response about his own mother was well delivered and spot on.

But they are Members of Parliament and represent their constituents.
That means that some Members of Parliament are more important than the other half.
Who is in charge of civil servants? Who "owns" them?
Surely they work for the general public as a whole? If they dont, we shouldnt be paying their wages.

David Cameron only seems to like democracy on his terms.
He has told tory MPs to ignore members in their constituencies that were eurosceptic.

If he had shunted them to the back benches it would have ended his term as PM . He is up against a very crafty politician.

We are not "watching a dying career". He said long ago he will not stand again. There is, a difference between a dying career and one that is being terminated voluntarily.

He jumps before being pushed jingle?

Having already announced his intentions at the last election, I'd say it's nothing to do with 'jumping' or 'being pushed' simply a matter of stepping down.

There are those who dislike Cameron so much that they would like to see him 'jump one be pushed' (like Thatcher truly was) but it's simply not the case.

I don't think any of us should blame any particular MP for what is said on PMQs, it is just a bear pit for them all and they mostly behave abominably. We could give examples of so many on all side. Sometimes they are disgraceful, sometimes funny and even sometimes rather clever.

On balance I think over the last week the 'ins' have been more rational than the 'outs' but I may feel differently next week. It is going to be a long 4 months, especially for those who have made up their minds.

He stated that he intended to give up at the end of this parliamentary term ages ago - when he was still on the up. In a way, his notice has been in since then. How can that be him jumping because of recent events?

If an ordinary person said they were going to leave a year or more in advance, put in their notice at work and gave the standard time until leaving, would you claim that they had been sacked?

That is not seeing reality, it is seeing what is projected from within your own imagination.

Some of the recent exploits in the House of Commons have been unbelievable. A disgusting fiasco of buffoons. The high pitched mocking laughter and jeers that go on for a long time make me feel ashamed of this Government. To think that these are our 'Leaders', the ones with so much power and control over the nation....it's quite scary. Looks like the political world of jokers like Donald Trump has now tainted our elected representatives here in Britain.

Democracy does not mean an oppostion being allowed access to govt documents. A loud oppsition is not a democratic majority. The referendum will give us a democratic majority- that is why it is taking place.

Yes Jingle , it is as Anya said - if he is still in office by 2019, Thatcher said five more years but it wasn't . The Tory knives are out, Boris wants to be PM, his opposition now is Corbyn, who knows come 2020 . Many MP's are silent on their stance on in or out, they are not going to back the wrong horse are they?

I expect that even when DC goes of his own volition others will claim to have pushed him.

The EU needs more money for refugees and asylum seekers, so that's not a problem.
The Tory party also wants to change human rights laws, so we have fewer rights. I'd like those beefed up.
