Were you born during WW2? If so it might be because your mother was moved out of London to one of the many matenity hospitals set up around London for women from London to be able to give birth without the process being disturbed by bombing raids. One of these hospitals was in St Neots

I can do Monday 23rd and also Tuesday 24th- though have an appointment in Cambourne that finishes at 12 so would be in St Neots parked by around - 12.45/1pm.

If its lunchtime somewhere like the Ferro Lounge? Esuires, where we met last time does light lunches - baguettes, panninis etc.

There is a little cafe called Poppies, which is very nice, but it is down Church Walk, not necessarily easy to find, if you are not local. If I know how many are coming I could see if it is possible to book a table/tables.

I'm happy with previous venue- and also happy to go for an alternative venue if that is the preferred choice by the majority.

I have been to the cafe called Poppies, although quite small it is very popular and has quite a varied menu.

It would be nice to be able to have one table, we were lucky last time because a table was vacated and we were able to put 2 together. We might not be so lucky this time but we can always try. Perhaps it would also be a good idea if Monica could check out Poppies.

I went to Poppies at lunch time and , yes, we can book a table.

Nearer the event we must do a count-up of those attending and agree what time we will meet and I will walk up and book a table.

For those who do not know where Poppies is, it is Church Walk, St Neots. Church Walk is just off the High Street opposite Boots. There is a light controlled pedestrian crossing and it feeds into Church Walk. Poppies is about 100 feet down on the left.
