I would suggest contacting your local ambulance service and finding out the process to register your keysafe number and it's position with them. It's suprisingly common for people to forget their number at a time of high stress/pain.
I have a key safe, I don't live alone so it's mainly in case I loose my keys and it's on the side of the house at my eye level. Please don't put it too low down. I've spent far too much time kneeling on a wet path in the dark trying to type numbers in to a key safe that's positioned a foot off the ground at a time when every minute counts!
I live in a gated marina with a key safe by the gate. Our marina manager gave the code to the regional control centre, but it doesn’t seem to have been effective. Over the three years that the key safe has been there, the ambulance, fire, and police services have all been needed, but when they arrived at the locked gates, were unable to get in because regional control hadn’t given them the code. What we do nowadays is to give the code at the time of calling whichever service we need, together with telling them where the key safe is situated. That seems to work better.
