Milk going off quickly

Just lately, milk seems to be going off before the use by date. I know it’s not my fridge. Anyone else finding this? I wondered if the weather is affecting how it is being transported or even if it is on the farm. I know cows are not producing the usual amount due to heat stress.

Has anyone else found that eggs haven't been as good as usual recently? I've switched to a slightly more expensive brand (on special offer, of course!) and find that the whites hold together better when I poach them.

I get my filtered whole milk from Tesco or Aldi and it’s always been fine, but I get it straight home and into the fridge as soon as I can after purchase.
