Lawn mowers

I’d suggest one which has a re-chargeable battery, there’s so much choice, but we have some Riobi gardening bits, strummer and very small safe branch and hedge trimmer, they are very good and use the same batteries.

I have a robot. It's great!

Our garden is rather irregular and probably not easy to use a robotic mower. Will have a look at Riobi. I have not heard of that make. Thank you both

Hayter Harrier electric start, self propelled petrol mower, expensive but so reliable.

I love my ancient Hayterette but following this thread as I’m struggling with the pull start. My neighbours have solar panels and a mower with a couple of rechargeable batteries so they cut their grass for free on sunny days!

We bought ours from Aldi they do a similar version in Lidl my husband has been really impressed with it reckons it does same good job as Mountfield he had for years

We have a lightweight cordless mower which uses a rechargeable battery. Really easy to use for smallish/medium size lawns. I'd advise doing some online regarding checking out what mower to buy. Your choice may depend on how much you want to spend.

I am in the verge of changing to a cordless mower. I missed out on the Aldi one as they put them out on display early and sold them all within a couple of days☹️. Our current mower is one we bought from Aldi and it’s done sterling service but the cable is a nuiscance. My neighbour has just bought a Riobi and is pleased with it. A battery was included. I was looking at Bosch but the battery and charger are not included and make it rather expensive.

I bought myself a battery powered Riobi about six years ago and it’s still going strong.So easy to start and cuts all the grass and I have a lot on one charge.

I bought a Ryobi last month. Delighted with it.
