Warm white paint colours

You & me both. What about timeless white?

Dulux heritage has some nice whites. Not cheap but great coverage.

I once used Jasmine White, which had the faintest warm tinge of yellow. It worked very well.

Yes I thought it might be too stark

Narrow it down to a few shades that you like, then purchase the tester pots and try it on your walls.

It is the only way to get a true sense of how the colour will look.

Good paint but so expensive

What I’ve done in the past is buy a few of the little ‘try me’ pots, apply them all over sheets of white A4 paper, and then hold them up in the room that needs painting, to see which looks best.

Shez if you use tester pots, put the paint on all walls. Sunshine, shadow, electric light etc can make a great difference to colour and tone

We first used that in 2010 and it is a warm white and very easy to touch up. I had the whole of my new house painted in auro 321 in 2021. Ceilings and walls, knowing that I can easily touch up areas myself. The white never changes over time and I used spare auro 321 when I sold my last house, pulled screws out, filled holes and the spare paint made the match perfect

Colour is added to my house with pictures and cushions etc. I love that shade of white and will use it forever

I painted a largish square with milk white from dulux and left it for a couple of days in my brightest room and one in my darkest room. I was absolutely blown by the subtle colour changes throughout the day and with the lights on at night. The light at dusk made it stand out as a light green which almost gave me that leafy forest feeling which i loved but during the day that effect disappeared. Bit of magic in my house as i used it throughout

I definitely recommend Lick paint. Their website is so informative giving you all the tones that are added to each shade and what works best with them. It is very good quality but if you can't afford it taken the colour card to the desk at B & Q and ask them to make a copy.

I only ever use Little Greene Paint.
It’s worth every penny.
They do Whitening and Silent White among others.

Yes! another big fan of Little Greene that was the paint used in redecorating our house, much better than Farrow and Ball which professional decorators don't seem to like much. I know we used a really great bone coloured white as a contrast to a feature wall in our guest bedroom, but can't remember what colour it was, I do seem to have a sample pot of Twist in the cupboard but it wasn't that one. Check out Sago's link above, they have a lot of warm whites in their colour palattes I'm sure you'll find one that suits you.

It’s expensive but goes a long way as it’s highly pigmented.
It looks good for years and has no smell.
