Better quality white paint?

I'm in a new build which has been completely done in white emulsion (Dulux )The builder gave us the number, and it could only be bought at a trade store. The dealer said it wasn't cheap paint. Having grandchildren coming and going, it does get some scuff some marks. I have to be very careful wiping it, as I found the first time I tried, that I was left with a bluish mark. I will have to use something stronger when I repaint.

I’ve always found Dulux to be very good, durable and easy to apply. DH once made a unilateral decision to save a bob or two and buy Wilko gloss for our landing skirting board and coving. It was ruddy useless, cost more because it had to have several coats, and every time it was caught by the vac or even a grandson’s foot, a strip would peel off. There’s shabby chic and there’s plain old shabby... If it’s good now, the formula must have changed.

Our decorator can't stand Farrow & Ball - too difficult to work with! He sent me to Brewers, where a lot of the trade go, and they will mix paint to your colour

My hubby will only use Dulux One Coat so as I want the house decorated that’s what it has to be!
