Advice on handheld vacuums (Gtech multi or another make)

I bought a Gtech Air Ram cordless vacuum cleaner a few weeks ago (after thinking about it for a couple of years because of the price) and really like it. I haven't used my heavy vacuum cleaner since but there are places I can't clean without having attachments. Not that I'm a fussy cleaner, but I wondered what your experiences are with handheld vacuums? Are they useful? I maybe should have bought the Gtech multi handheld at the same time as the Air Ram as it was cheaper that way but didn't know whether it would be worth it. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and suggestions.

I have the shark cordless vac and absolutely love it.Comes with lots of attachments and a special head for dog hair.Best hoover I have ever bought.

I got a free shark cordless vac to review, would have cost £129. I gave it a low rating and will keep it in the garage. It is way too expensive and performance is much below par, noise is also a big issue as is short use time ie 2.5 hours charge for 8 minutes runtime and also the ineffective paper filter. I have a dyson car vac which is fab, I use it indoors too and it picks up everything

ps, my shark cordless duoclean upright is amazing, it has anti-hair wrap technology and cost me aroung£175. I can lift the top off for it to become a cordless hand held, now that one would get 5/5 stars from me
