All are welcome to ask questions, air worries, be supported and reassured by those of us who have experienced new hips and/ or knee surgery .
Who woukd have thought our thread would go on for so long.

Welcome VerityMargaret, we all worried about hip operations , that was why I started this thread over 4 years ago. I didn’t know what to expect.
We aRe on our 7 th chapter now. That is a lot of information from a lot of people who have had new hips and knees. Someone will always respond to questions, worries and also make helpful suggestions for what helps post op.
Your knee has been supporting your hip so yes it’s possible the knee pain will resolve after the hip is replaced.
Easy to say try not to worry, because you will, but once it’s done you will be painfree and be able to get on with your life and be on here cheering others on.
