Will Sertraline prevent migraines?

Hi, just wondered if Sertraline has helped reduce or prevent regular migraines for anyone? I have been prescribed it for depression but also in the hope to stop migraines.

The mental health nurse at my surgery said it might cause headaches. I have a packet waiting in my bedroom , having been scared to take them having read side effects. I did start a thread about Sertraline but lit soon disappeared with not a lot of response.

Ah ! I’ve just found the lost thread with lots of helpful comments ( called anti depressants)
