Interstitial lung disease

It is a recognised, if not common, side effect of the metastatic breast cancer treatment Enhertu. If, on the off chance, you are on that drug then consult your oncologist.

Failing that I'm sorry but I haven't any further knowledge.

I was recently diagnosed with the above. I only found out by chance when having a CT scan for a possible blood clot on my lungs.

When googling the disease it came up that the most common of this was Idiopathic Pulmonary Thrombosis. Sadly my younger sister died from IPF two years ago.

Of course, now I’m afraid that I have this too. My GP has referred me to the Respiratory Unit and I have an appointment next March.

I would like to know if other GNetters have this disease and how they are dealing with it?
