Do make an appointment to have it checked out. It could be 'wall' collapse in that area. I had similar symptoms to you.
One excellent piece of advice I was given and that works well was to think of the bladder as the spout of a teapot to be tipped up to empty. You go to the loo as normal, pass any urine in the normal way and then stand up and sort of tip that area forward like pouring tea and most times more urine comes out. Also, if you've done that, when you sit back down again, it has often stimulated the bladder to empty a bit more the normal way.
