All cancer is serious, but what is the outlook for cancer of the womb?

My Mum used to say “Where there’s life, there’s hope “ - treatments these days are so far advanced. You are obviously having a full hysterectomy? I’m not medically qualified and don’t know much. I’m sure someone will come along soon and enlighten you further

As with most things, the sooner investigated the better.
My dear sister in law had cancer of the womb. She had a total hysterectomy and other bits removed. During the procedure they ‘nicked’ the spleen and she had to have that removed too. She had two serious operations (the womb and removal of spleen) then had a period of chemotherapy. She went on to have many years of good and enjoyable life. Her grandchildren were young when she had the op but fully grown and at work long before she eventually died of something different.
