Well something is clearing wrong. Go back to the GP and insist on more tests for different possibilities. It’s not up you you, or us, or anyone on social media to offer a diagnosis. That’s my advice,

Keep nagging your GP, Nanaval. If necessary get a second opinion. Don't be fobbed off.

I've kept putting it off because of the lockdown but I think I will have to make an appointment pretty soon, I was hoping someone would have had knowledge of something similar. Not a fan of Drs. , I always seem to get tonguetied when I got there.

Please make an appointment first thing Monday morning. Sounds like a problem with your lymph glands.

Our surgery has the option of describing the issue via something called e-consult. I’ve used it with good effect for Mr C, it’s easy to think about what exactly the issue is and then describe it. Responses here are either via a phone consultation or face to face if needed, it’s not an email response. Apparently it’s being rolled out across most of the country. It’s not essential, we can still phone. That sort of thing might help nannaval, if it’s not available for you then yes, write it all down, you do sound as if you need medical help, please don’t wait any longer. Good luck.

I advise the same Nanaval, please ring your surgery tomorrow. Ask for a Doctor phone appt. if a face to face isn’t possible re. Covid.

They may ask you to send photographs attached to an e mail and a brief explanation + history till now. Say you are worried as you feel it can’t be right.
I hope one of the docs in your surgery will see you, and don’t worry about being tongue tied. You can write some questions down - say you want to be clear on the advice you receive and jot down shortened answers if you know you won’t remember.

You need to insist on more tests. I too hate having to go but you can practice what you want to say. And write it down.

It sounds as though you may have lymphoedema but what is causing it is a mystery. You absolutely must be seen and preferably face to face. This is something which you must not ignore because I doubt if it will go away anytime soon. If a second opinion is necessary, so be it. Good luck..

Lyphoedema was my first thought too. It really needs looking at but by a specialist. The GP is merely a stepping stone in this process.

My first thought too Charleygirl Suggest the OP gets someone to photograph your upper body and then take measurements of the arms. If your GP wont listen go to A/E. This needs attention now.
