Shrinking clitoris - Sorry to have to ask !

I haven't measured it but believe it's remained the same, certainly functions as it should.

I understood that atrophy of all the female attributes was a natural consequence of menopause so I opted not to go through that. I was 40 when I had my ovaries etc. removed. After 30 years of oestrogen replacement therapy everything is plump and functioning.
I have no intention of ever going through the menopause, and having chosen oestrogen implants I only have to have the oestrogen implanted twice a year so there is very little inconvenience.
Why not investigate whether you could start on oestrogen therapy to reverse the shrinkage OP. My only advice would be to ensure you take it transdermally not orally, so implants, patches, gel etc. Not pills. Good luck.

Please remember that size does not matter.

Please remember that the clitoris is a lot more spacious than the visible tip that shows inside the labia minora.

I'm not aware of my clitoris shrinking but my minor labia have certainly shrunk considerably. I went to the Dr about a month ago and she says all is fine and healthy. The shrinkage is an age thing usually together with vaginal atrophy.

I had actually googled it before the appointment.
I have never had HRT even though I went into menopause at 40. I am now 70.

She gave me a local hrt pessary, tiny like a pill and it is inserted using an applicator rather like the old tampons. Though I think that is more for the dryness ..... And will save me a fortune in KY Jelly.

Honestly, it seemed like my minor labia were as always, and then one day they were half their size.

Must buy new magnifying mirror ? can’t see otherwise ?

Hi Hellsbelles, yes, after 12 years of hell otherwise known as the menopause, my clit gradually shrunk. At 64 I started HRT patches and now, after five years of oestrogen, my clit is back to normal size. Mother Nature didn't expect us to live much after the menopause so probably felt our feminine bits would be redundant!
