After having my yearly blood test for a medication review with the practice nurse, she told me I need to see the gp as I have a high platelet count. It’s 440. I’m seeing the GP on Friday but just wondered if anyone has had this problem and it resolved itself without medical intervention? According to Dr Google I have everything from dehydration to cancer so not very helpful. My husband has a lot of ongoing medical problems and I’ve told him I’m not worried about mine but I am! I just don’t want to put any more pressure on him. Any advice until I see the GP?
