I've had an epiretinal membrane or macular pucker in my right eye for the past three years. I decided not to have the operation two years ago as I felt I could cope OK, but now I find that the double vision I am getting - because I'm getting a different image with each eye - is a real pain. (The image in the right eye is 'stretched' and larger than the one in my left eye) I'm due to see a vitreoretinal surgeon on 8th September and, this time, I think I will agree to the surgery.
Has anybody else had this operation done, please? I'd be very interested to hear of other's experiences.
