Hands-up if you still line-dry.

Holding my hand up!

The better part of 45 years for me now, with no intentions on slowing down/quitting!

When I had babies in the home, my clothesline was my best friend! Couldn't have gotten by without it.

I love mine. I rarely dry outside nowadays even when the weather is good. With stuff on my pulley, I can decide when to take it down.

Exactly! I do still put things out if fine weather is guaranteed but using the pulley means I’m under no pressure to get it down!

Dry outside mostly, but I have a line in the garage, for days like this.
Scottish Power does half price electricity on Sat and Sun between 12noon - 4pm. My washing machine and dishwasher are on those times, although dishwasher is on only once on Sunday.

Yes I have a Maiden in the outhouse, wouldn't be without one, had one in my last house too.

I’ve got one in the utility room. When I’m drying inside I’ve got a heated airer, but all the trousers go on the Sheila maid, because it’s got wide slats and they can hang down.

I have one in my utility room . It’s brilliant for drying as it has wide slats and especially good for drying jumpers as you can spread them to shape them .

I love to line dry whenever possible. My neighbours look at me as though I've gone mad when I hang out on crisp winter days.I like it too when my washing freezes on the line. It dries much quicker after that !!!

Always outside if I can, heated airier in the utility room if it’s damp outside and a tumble dryer for an emergency.

We had pulleys in most of our army quarters, always in the kitchen, one we had in Yorkshire was above the kitchen table, sometimes you did get washing draping on your head.
I try to wash bedding and towels when we’re not expecting rain, there’s nothing like washing dried in the fresh air.
We get plenty of rain in South Wales.
