Daffodils out!

I have Primroses flowering in the garden!

Yes we noticed yesterday that a clump of daffodils is already out in the front garden. Just hope they are not going to get clobbered if we get the snow they are promising next week.

I walked past my neighbour’s house today and their white camellia is in full bloom.

I have seen some Facebook pictures of them flowering in Torquay, none near me yet.

My daffodils aren’t quite in bud, but another mild sunny day and they may well be. The earliest I’ve had one in full flower here was 28 December (2015).

Yes some of my daffodils are budding. Lots of big buds on the camellias and on the rhododendrons too.

At the moment I have a bottle brush shrub flowering 2 marigolds and a pot of lobelia out in flower

I was walking down the road yesterday and I was surprised to see quite a big clump of yellow daffodils growing in somebody's front garden. Also, my various bulbs in pots seem to be shooting up rather fast for this time of year.
