These are my favourite flowers. This year we treated ourselves to a plant from a garden centre. It wasn't exactly cheap but it's been a disaster. The instructions are ground or pot. We've looked after it the same as our other plants. Does anyone know what we can do to save it? Thanks.

We are on very free draining soil and years back an alstroemeria my MIL gave me took over a whole bed!

Hi Kate ,
I love plants from the supermarket !
I've bought my fruit trees from Tescos and a wonderful selection of peonies from Lidl .

My friend and I went to the nursery as a treat and the plants were expensive .
We ate there too and it was so disappointing .

Yes Esmay Supermarket plants are great. Some of the garden centres around here charge ridiculous prices.
