I love this programme. I sense that Monty Don is becoming weary and wants to slowly move out and pass it on to someone else. Adam Frost?
I would miss the dogs though.

25Avalon. Totally agree about the 30 minutes being ideal. The concise little articles have bags of information packed in and a real pace to them.

I spent years wishing Gardeners World was longer and now realise I should have been careful what I wished for.

I still miss the late Geoff Hamilton, really admired him. Find Carol Klein totally OTT with all the gushing and cooing, it's not needed and gets on my nerves. Glad I'm not on what she is! But of course I do respect she has a wonderful knowledge of plants, just needs to tone it down.

About Adam's voice - I realise now why it doen't bother me. I've never heard it!
I use the facility where the speech is printed on the screen because I'm a bit deaf.
