Only then will I head off home
And sort out my wet hair with a comb
I'll try a new style
With which I'll beguile
Everyone wherever I roam

I'll charm everybody I meet

I won't need a really big case
I'll take things at my own sweet pace
Summer clothes, a few

Sunshine and water and flowers
I'll sit by the brook for hours

Sunshine and water and flowers
I'll sit by the brook for hours
A heavenly spot
Not too cold or hot
To develop my meditative powers

That's enough of the great outdoors

That's enough of the great outdoors
Not for me the wide open moors
Or the hills I can't climb

That’s enough of the great outdoors
Not for me the wide open moors
Or the hills I can’t climb
As I did at one time

That's enough of the great outdoors
Not for me the wide open moors
Or the hills I can't climb
As I did at one time
I prefer to look out from indoors

I do like an old country pub

With gentlemen's shoulders, I can rub

I never did learn how to swim,
Sadly my chances were slim
The water so deep
The descent was so steep

I never did learn how to swim
Sadly my chances were slim
The water so deep
The descent was so steep
I got in the pool on a whim

I was really kept back by fear
Of water, I'd never go near
