And that war everywhere will cease
Would be a good plan
Would benefit man
And kids suffering would decrease

I should take a leaf from her book
And might even learn how to cook
A nice Sunday roast
Or mushrooms on toast

And might even learn how to cook
A nice Sunday roast
Or mushrooms on toast
I’ll pop in there and take a look

Ethel and I went pub-crawling
Got so drunk we kept on falling
We landed in mud
There'd been a flash flood
The dog next door kept howling

Gave him a bone , hoping he’d stop
