Yes it works for me either ginger tea or a ginger biscuit if I’m having a dizzy spell.

No I don't like anything with ginger in it but it obviously helps some.

Ginger in any form helps me with nausea. For colds and the like it’s honey, lemon and glycerin for me.

When I was pregnant with my first child and suffering with morning sickness, my doctor advised me to have a cup of tea and a ginger biscuit before I even got out of bed. And it did work!

Whenever I feel run down and come down with a cold or a cough, I usually lose my appetite. On days like that, I keep things simple- a warm cup of ginger tea, plenty of fluids, and as much rest as I can get.

I don't think of ginger tea as a cure, but I do find that a warm drink can be soothing when my throat is irritated and it really helps me feel a little more comfortable in recovery.

Do you have a favorite drink or home remedy when you're dealing with a cold or sore throat?
